Email is an essential part of the modern company’s communications arsenal, with businesses typically sending and receiving hundreds or even thousands of emails every week.
In order to manage all of these messages, and keep the information within them secure, an efficient and effective mail server is required.
The SoHo Mail Server is designed to provide email services to a small home or office network. It performs Internet SMTP delivery and POP3 collection from existing mail accounts, and has local POP3 and SMTP servers for communicating with mail clients on the local network.
The SoHo Mail Server can run on any computer that runs Windows and has a dial-up, Broadband, or LAN Internet connection. It supports multiple mailboxes and users and users can use their preferred mail client such as Outlook or Eudora. Mail is stored on the mail server machine until it has been delivered to its intended client. Incoming mail can be scanned for viruses and other malware.
