i-Zimbra was founded in 2001 and has grown from humble origins to become a thriving IT Consultancy offering a complete one-stop service to the SME Market.
Here at i-Zimbra we like to do things differently ... but for the better! When we first began in business for ourselves, we started out with a simple premise: that we should aim to provide a better quality service in both IT Support and Web Design than our competitors.
How? Simply by utilising our inherent understanding of these industries and by drawing on extensive experience in IT and Risk Management.
Started by three experienced IT Professionals, we began with this simple belief: that "we can do better than the rest". What's more, two of our number had not only worked as consultants previously, but also as IT Managers; so we realised the key to our future success would be through looking after our customers the way we wanted to be looked after when we had been customers ourselves.
We decided we'd think from the customers' perspectives, and that we'd treat all our clients with the same basic quality level of service, rather than inventing a "pecking order" - an attitude we'd found frustrating at previous companies we'd worked for.
As well as putting customers first, we chose to apply pure change management principles to IT and web projects, and in so doing, we soon found we could deliver a better quality of service for our clients, on time and on budget.
At i-Zimbra, we believe taking this approach is instrumental towards our continued success and in our becoming one of Brighton's leading IT Support, Web Design & Search Marketing Agencies.
Having previously worked across the UK and abroad, plus the fact we've all spent a considerable time working in London, you could say we've been around a bit. But when it came to chosing where to pitch our base, we decided upon the vibrant coastal city of Brighton & Hove from where we provide a London-style Consultancy IT Service to the local SME market.
Brighton is the UK's leading centre for New Media services, including Web Design and Search Engine Optimisation, two disciplines in which we excel. So there's no shortage of talent around us and we work alongside some great partner companies as well as employing some of the country's leading freelancers in these areas too.
But above all, the reason we like it here is because we firmly believe that all work and no play makes us a bunch of dullards - and being by the seaside affords us opportunities to maintain a proper work/life balance. So it's no surprise then that, when we're not working at the coal-face saving customers' networks or pushing their web sites up the Google rankings, our staff can usually be found engaging in their favourite pastimes which include:-

Simply because we believe that diversity is a good thing and that having multiple interests engenders a healthy attitude at work. i-Zimbra believes that its people are the most important asset the company has and aims to look after their wellbeing by offering a flexible approach to work.
